Few will be as excited as some of the club’s youthful stars about Liverpool’s first Europa League involvement since 2016 regardless of what happens in the coming weeks and months.

Ben Doak, Bobby Clark, and Jarell Quansah should be able to take advantage of significant first-team opportunities after a favorable draw thanks to a season in UEFA’s secondary competition, despite the fact that players like Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, and others in the senior squad will be disappointed to have to wait at least another 12 months to return to the Champions League.

Most Liverpool fans will be aware of Ben Doak at this point. The Scottish dynamo has wasted little time in earning a reputation as Liverpool’s most exciting youth product in many years after rejecting down a two-year scholarship with Celtic to join to Anfield last summer.

Clark, another young wonder who managed to attract the attention of Liverpool supporters over the summer by being included in the squads for their tours of Germany and Singapore, is similar to Doak in that he is a sensational young player.

Whatever Quansah is need to do for the duration of the 2023–24 season, it’s unlikely that anything will be as challenging as the defender’s month-old Premier League debut.
KAIDE GORDON
It is understandable that Kaide Gordon’s name hasn’t been brought up much lately after spending 19 months on the sidelines recovering from a pelvic injury.
In spite of his extended absence, which came to an end on Sunday when he played for the Reds’ under-21 team in Kirkby, Gordon still has a bright future at Anfield.
