Reds fans on channel X are baffled as to why Alisson was passed over in favor of some of these goalies:

The stats take his post-shot xG faced figures and deduct the actual number of goals he conceded. Bernd Leno of Fulham was his closest rival (+9.0).
In contrast, Ramsdale (-2.0) and Ederson (-4.8) had dreadful seasons, while Emi Martinez (+2.6) had a strong one.
The thoughts of those making the shortlist have been clearly influenced by the fact that Jurgen Klopp’s team had a very disappointing year in compared to years before.
That Alisson won’t be honored for what was a very spectacular campaign is a terrible tragedy.
