Mohamed Salah’s future will no longer be a mystery for Liverpool. The Egyptian is not getting any younger, and as this summer has demonstrated, Saudi Arabia is eager to sign him as a star player for their new league.
The ideal time to sell him might be next summer given that his contract expires in two years. Salah will have reached the age of 32 by then, maybe set a few more records for Liverpool, and be prepared to move on to new opportunities.
One of the most promising young players in the Netherlands, Xavi Simons, joined RB Leipzig this summer. He was brought in to take the role of Szoboszlai, who left to join Liverpool, and moved to Germany.
So far, Simons has not let me down. He has been playing on the right flank and is off to an excellent season.
 Simons has tallied two goals and three assists through three Bundesliga appearances so far. Given that he has only played 230 minutes so far, that means he has contributed a goal or an assist to the team every 46 minutes, which is pretty amazing.
The 20-year-old, who in his youth worked his way up through the ranks at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain before drawing the attention of the coaching staff at PSV Eindhoven, where he contributed to 34 goals in 48 games last season, has had a very strong start. It’s still early, though.
He primarily played on the left side for PSV, but Leipzig has moved him to the right wing, which is intriguing from the perspective of Liverpool.
He would provide Klopp a lot of tactical versatility because he can play both in the center and on the left, and given that Liverpool has done plenty of business with Leipzig in the past, there might not be many obstacles in the way of a prospective transfer.
Because of this, he might be the perfect candidate and someone the club’s scouts are already considering for the future.
