Kylian Mbappé could be tempted by a transfer to Liverpool next summer. Real Madrid are leading the race for the Frenchman, who is expected to become a free agent by the end of the season.
According to L’Equipe, Mbappé is keeping his options open and Liverpool are in contention for his services. The Reds have been linked with a move this summer while PSG tried to sack Mbappe, with the latter refusing to sign a new contract beyond 2024.
Real Madrid have been targeting Mbappe for two years but are yet to see a contract cross the finish line. Their offers had been rejected in 2021, while their hopes of signing him on a free transfer in 2022 were dashed when the striker signed a new contract with PSG.
Reports said Liverpool had made a €300m offer for Mbappé earlier this summer, but it turned out to be a rumour. The Reds are looking to replace Mohamed Salah as the Egyptian is a prime target for Al Ittihad.
The Saudi side are poised to make a big move and have been linked to a £215million move for the striker (according to The Sun). Djibril Cisse has said Liverpool would be ideal for Kylian Mbappe. He added that the Frenchman should join the club that supports his mother and joked that he should be a good boy and listen to her
Marcel Desailly also echoed similar sentiments, saying the Reds are the best club for Mbappé
Mbappe has yet to make a decision about his future, but he has said he will not sign a new contract with PSG.
