Liverpool supporters will be hoping that some sad injury news won’t have derailed their possible third victory of the season on what was a sunny afternoon at Anfield.
According to @JamesPearceLFC and @IanDoyleSport on X, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s pull-up during the second half of play gave the home crowd cause for concern.
After the incident in question, the Englishman was quickly seen making his way down the tunnel in what was hopefully a precautionary substitution.
Fortunately for the Merseysiders, an international break is scheduled to occur next week. Depending on how serious the injury worry is, this break should provide the No. 66 with plenty of time to heal.
