Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s full-throttle offensive style is something that former Everton, Barcelona, and Leicester City striker Gary Lineker says he would have loved to play for.
The 62-year-old enjoyed an illustrious career in the old First Divison with childhood club Leicester City before going to Goodison Park in 1985. He won the Golden Boot at the 1986 World Cup with England.
Lineker moved to Barcelona in 1986 after an outstanding debut season with the Blues, where he furthered his name on the European and international stages by scoring a spectacular hat-trick against Real Madrid. During his tenure at the Nou Camp, he went on to win the Copa del Rey and the European Cup Winners’ Cup.
 Lineker stated, “I’d start with Jurgen Klopp.” I believe he would make a fantastic manager to play for. Dynamic football generates a ton of opportunities, and I think I would have preferred that from a selfish standpoint.
With his tactics, which are heavily influenced by Arrigo Sacchi, the manager of AC Milan who won back-to-back European Cups, Klopp has made a name for himself as one of the best counter-pressing managers of his era since taking over as Liverpool manager in October 2015.
 The German’s all-out style was just Sunday, when he oversaw his team’s 2-1 comeback triumph at Newcastle United despite having 10 men on the field.
Darwin Nunez, a 77th-minute substitution, scored twice in 12 minutes to change the course of the match and give the Reds the victory.
Every major prize available has been won by Klopp while he has been at Anfield.
